本课件最突出特点，一是利用相对运动的观点将“平面截三棱柱的截面形状”问题，转化成“按前后、左右、上下三个维度固定截面，转动三棱柱形成不同截面”，这样的转化，清晰地揭示了分析此类问题的基本分类方法，同时避免了一个初中学生难以理解的“平面有无限延展性”的难点，可谓匠心独运。二是将截面投射在另一个平行平面上的方法，既保留了平面穿过几何体的实物感，又清晰地将截面予以分离（平行投影），效果非常好。其三就是考虑周到，各种情形都设计了问题、探究、结果。 [size=5]140期高中组最优作品[/size]

突出优点：课件从椭圆、双曲线的第二定义，抛物线的定义出发，引出圆锥曲线的统一定义，同时对圆锥曲线的统一定义进行两种方法的作图，一是利用到定点与到定直线的距离之比为常数顺势作图，体现线段之比的过程作图，二是利用统一定义的方程曲线隐函数直接逆向作图，各有优势，前者可以体现三种曲随离心率的转化过程，但不能作出双曲线的双支，后者可以充分观察与展示出椭圆、抛物线、双曲线的完整的变化过程，最后由圆锥曲线的统一定义简单实用的推导出圆锥曲线统一方程。两种方式互为补充，突出了圆锥曲线定义的“统一性”。
